Fakten
Printplus Mobile complements the CRM tool IVIS integrated in Printplus DRUCK and Printplus VERLAG. Thanks to the native app, employees can access customer data and their task list at any time. The app is available for iOS and Android.
The completely newly developed calculation replaces the previous pre-calculation in Printplus DRUCK. Supported by an intelligent suggestion system, the user completes his tasks safer and faster. Even with very complex products with many versions and supplements, they can keep track of everything thanks to the new graphic interface.
Full commitment for the customers: Today, we employ 50 people in the areas of software development, organisational consulting, product management and sales.
In the Printplus DRUCK software we rely on "artificial" intelligence. With this support, the software automatically creates an optimized production plan, and a completely new collective production order calculates cost-optimized gang-runs with the integration of PerfectPattern.
Since 16 February 2015, we have been working from our new offices at Schützenwiese 8 in Kriessern. We not only have more space here, but also an appealing ambience with modern infrastructure.
Today, we employ 39 people, computer scientists in software development and industry specialists in organisational consulting and sales. In total, we support more than 400 customers with a total of more than 6,000 users in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany.
Thomas Forster hands over Printplus to his long-time partners Alex Sturzenegger, Johannes Steinhauser and Oliver Ruf. The personnel, organisational and financial preparations for setting this course have been made over the last 6 years. This guarantees economic stability in the future as well.
Many new customers, especially from Germany and Austria, choose Printplus as their partner. At Drupa we will show the advantages of internal and external networking in live presentations. The focus is on communication with the customer.
First networking with JDF/JMF in prepress workflow and printing in Switzerland at Jordi AG, Belp, together with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. Recruitment of additional staff for the expansion of consultancy capacities. Customer Day on Lake Constance under the motto "Beyond Borders".
Implementation of the first CIP4 installation with JDF/JMF and presentation of the complete networking based on JDF/JMF at Drupa. First installation of the new Printplus Druck.X software for small commercial printers.
Printplus exhibits for the first time at Drupa in Dusseldorf. We show the entire software range under the motto "Networking live". Printplus supports EUPRIMA as a founding member.
Active sales in Germany will start with a sales partner. Printplus DRUCK is jointly put into operation at KOLBE-COLOCO Spezialdruck GmbH & Co. KG in Versmold.
The complete print shop software is installed for the first customer under Windows. This marks the beginning of the replacement of the software previously used under the MS-DOS operating system.
The first software module under Windows, the CRM solution IVIS, is delivered.
Printplus AG is founded as a management buy-out. The new company takes over the entire Printplus division from DEC. 9 employees and 300 customers are also taken over. At the same time, development under Windows is started.
Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) takes over Mannesmann Kienzle AG.
Bolliger AG is taken over by Mannesmann Kienzle AG. At this time, there are 5 employees. 150 customers are already using the software.
Ernst Bolliger founds Bolliger AG in Mauren (principality of Liechtenstein). A calculation program is developed for the Kyburz AG print shop, which runs on PCs under the MS-DOS operating system. The first version is already used on a PC network. In the first year, the software is installed for 10 customers.
We, the team of the Swiss software specialists Printplus AG, develop future-oriented industry software for the graphic arts industry, used daily by more than 400 customers. Having grown in the graphic arts industry since 1984, we know the dynamics of the industry first-hand.
